THE CONSEQUENCES OF OUR ACTIONS DRASTICALLY IMPACT ON OUR FUTURE.

THE TWO MAIN THREATS TO OUR FUTURE EXISTENCE ARE 

GLOBAL WARMING AND OVERPOPULATION OF OUR EARTH.

CLIMATE CHANGE

Climate change is caused by burning fossil fuels such as:

COAL - OIL AND OIL PRODUCTS SUCH AS PETROL, PARAFFIN AND DIESEL.

These products are commonly used to provide electricity, power  

motor vehicles, airliners, ships, machinery et cetera.

One of the products of the combustion process is carbon dioxide.

Prior to the Industrial Revolution there were none of the above. There was no pollution problem because the amount of carbon dioxide produced by cooking food over a fire and the amount of humans and animals that produced carbon dioxide gas by breathing in oxygen and breathing out carbon dioxide and methane gas was adequately absorbed by trees and other plant life.

A sun driven process known as photosynthesis allows plant life to absorb carbon dioxide and emit oxygen. Thus it is essential that there is a good relationship between the existence of plantlife and humans and animals.

Humans are burning forests which creates carbon dioxide gas. Humans are  using  our forests to supply wood for manufacturing paper and building requirements without planting sufficient young trees to replace those harvested.

Two of the greatest dangers of climate change are:

Global warming  melts the ice caps at the North and South Poles which in turn causes the sea levels to rise and flood low lying areas.

As temperatures rise arable land used for food production turns into deserts.

Temperatures rise, Rainfall diminishes and food production becomes inadequate to feed all humans and animals on our planet.

Population explosion exacerbates the situation because more humans mean more food must be produced to feed all humans and animals. Thus we have a vicious circle on our hands which we must  control effectively or suffer the dire consequences.

How do we prevent  Population Explosion.

Firstly we must only have as many children as we can afford.

Do no let the welfare of your children become the problem of your community.

Take responsibility for your decisions.

Your community via your government will tax people in order to obtain funds with which to fund

the poor which is acceptable within limits.

However many people provide for their future by investing money for their  retirement.

Thus over taxing citizens who have to cope with living expenses and funding a retirement income will be intolerable especially when the return on retirement investment is inequitable.

 People who have not provided adequately for their retirement or who are too poor to do so, may have to apply for government grants to exist, this will place a burden on the state.

A worrying feature of our existence is the amount of   government officials both in parliamentary and local government positions who commit theft, fraud and corruption to fund their extravagant lifestyles while their subjects and constituents are poor and or striving to earn a living wage.

Then there are the thieving, lying private individuals that fleece the public by devious money making schemes to enrich themselves. Many individuals have fallen and still will fall prey to these scheming fraudsters.

Talking about fraud, be careful of INTERNET FRAUD by people who E. Mail you and inform you that a company or business has gratuitously awarded you a sum of money. If you get such an E. MAIL report the occurrence to you local police and also to INTERPOL 

DO NOT GIVE YOUR PERSONAL PARTICULARS SUCH AS YOUR NAME, ADDRESS, AND ESPECIALLY NOT YOUR BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER.

WORRYING OVER MONEY MATTERS CAUSES STRESS WHICH WILL IMPACT UPON 

YOU HEALTH.

To those in the upper corridors of power in our world whether it be governmental, municipal, or business

who abuse their power, steal, commit fraud or are corrupt are enriching themselves, while impoverishing the poor.

The general public are watching your actions and if they discover any impropriety or criminal activity they will demand that appropriate action is taken.

No one is above the law in a well run democracy.

However in some nations in our world criminal activity is condoned by brutally controlling their subjects who

dare to object to dictatorial rule.

History  however has shown that DICTATORIAL RULERS have a limited lifespan.

The oppressed suffer in silence because they fear the consequences of disclosing their grievances as Dictators rule by fear.

The United Nations which acts as a controlling body should be given sufficient power to act swiftly and effectively in circumstances where where the human rights of people are controlled to retain power by a dictator and his or her associates.

There are many power hungry DICTATORS who were responsible for the most vile killing and torture of their subjects who were non compliant. Many of them are dead but some still exist.

All of us, dear ancestral brothers and sisters, have a right to exist and enjoy a healthy life free from torture, racial hatred and dictatorial governments.

BIOFUEL OR FOOD?

Biofuel production to control greenhouse gases is a workable solution, but is it an alternative, given that the world's population is increasing beyond the capacity of the earth to sustain an increase the production of food. There are alternatives for fuel production that will reverse the rampant production of greenhouse gases that cause global warming. According to experts, some of these are:

SUN POWER - WIND POWER - ELECTRICITY PRODUCDED BY NUCLEAR ENERGY - THERMAL HEAT SOURCED FROM THE BOILING PLASMA BENEATH THE EARTH'S SURFACE, WAVE POWER GENERATED BY THE WAVES OF THE SEA, HYDROGEN.

FOOD PRODUCTION IS OF PARAMOUNT IMPORTANCE BECAUSE OF THE PRESENT AND FUTURE EFFECTS OF GLOBAL WARMING AND THE OVER POPULATION OF THE EARTH.

CURRENTLY THERE IS INSUFFICIENT ARABLE LAND AND IRRIGATION SYSTEMS TO PRODUCE SUFFICIENT FOOD FOR HUMAN BEINGS AND ANIMALS. A LARGE PERCENTAGE OF THE WORLD'S POPULATION IS CURRENTLY IN STARVATION MODE OR EXISTING ON ONE MEAL A DAY. THIS SITUATION CAN LEAD TO UNREST AMONGST THE HAVES AND THE HAVE NOTS.

Global warming can be reversed if nations have the will to do so.

The following will go a long way to preventing a looming catastrophe:

1. Cut greenhouse gas emissions by building nuclear power plants to generate electricity.

2. Produce electrically propelled vehicles and vehicles that use hydrogen instead of gasoline (petrol).

3. Encourage people to walk to work and shopping where possible.

4. Encourage people to plant trees and other plants to absorb carbon dioxide. Plants absorb carbon dioxide and give off oxygen. Before the industrial revolution there was a balance between the absorption of carbon dioxide by plants and the emission of carbon dioxide emitted by humans and animals. There was no threat of global warming. Human beings created the conditions suitable for global warming and we must immediately put mechanisms in place to reverse this tendency. If we do not collectively reverse this threat then people worldwide will suffer the consequences. Here is a fact that some people are not aware of:

PEOPLE AND ANIMALS INHALE OXYGEN AND OTHER GASES IN THE ATMOSPHERE AND GIVE OFF CARBON DIOXIDE AND OTHER GASES SUCH AS METHANE, NITROGEN AND HYDROGEN. PLANTS ON THE OTHER HAND ABSORB CARBON DIOXIDE AND GIVE OFF OXYGEN. When humans produce more carbon dioxide than the plants can absorb, the whole of mankind is in trouble, because with the spectre of global warming, the balance between production of greenhouse gass and the absorption thereof, is disturbed and weather patterns will change with dire consequences to agricultural production worldwide.

My suggestion about walking to curb the use of motor vehicles has another beneficial result. IT is an excellent exercise which will improve your health and increase longevity. IT will also burn the excess calories contained in your food intake and thus result in weight loss. To those suffering from overweight or obesity, the reduction of weight is a relatively simple matter. Consmue less calories and exercise more to burn the calories stored in your fat cells.

Seriously we are inadvertently destroying our planet's ability to support life. This is currently a serious situation but if we do not take effective action immediately then we and especailly our children will experience the full effects of global warming. These effects are changing weather patterns, decreased food prodution and polluted air.

PLEASE TAKE THIS MATTER SERIOUSLY AND LOBBY YOUR POLITICIANS TO TAKE IMMEDIATE AND EFFECTIVE STEPS TO CONTAIN AND HOPEFULLY REVERSE THIS THREAT. FAILURE TO TAKE TIMEOUS ACTION CAN RESULT IN A CATASTROPHIC SITUATION WORLDWIDE.
